I'm B Positive which, coincidentally, is the exact opposite of my personal motto in life. However, I stopped giving a year or two ago because the local service kept mucking us about. My missus' haemoglobin levels were right on the cusp as it was and then they went and reduced the level at which they'd take ruling her out completely. That coupled with interminable waits regardless of appointment or not made me jack it all in as well. Found the whole blood-donating lark very poorly organised as a whole, which was a shame as I quite enjoyed it; I once bled out all over the floor which was fun for all involved. Happy days.
Congratulations on being part of a highly coveted donor pool. (From an O+ sister across the pond who really wishes her local blood center would take her off the deferral list and accept her blood again. Stupid false positive 10 years ago.)
If you ever need blood and I'm in the neighborhood ... O+ on demand. Be prepared for lots of reminders from the blood folks as we are universal donors and very, very popular. How is the mumborg doing?
I would be an A+ - found that out years and years ago when I was in the military and had to have it on my dogtag along with my name, rank, and social security number!
High five! :D
ReplyDeletecongrats on that...Putter has same blood as you. Means you guys are Meat Eaters.. I am A- means I am a lamo vegetarian... What Ever!!!!!
