Had a lovely time with the nephews this weekend, too short though! The length of time, not the actual nephews. Although they are kind of small creatures, it must be their age or something. They arrived late on Friday, so we just grabbed some Chinese food and watched Starship troopers, cartoon one, which inspired many an idea for their doodle Christmas book. Then Saturday they were whisked off to see as many relatives as possible and I slunk off back to bed. Unfortunately I had been struck down with accursed migraine of HELL all sodding weekend and still have it now. I think its probably some shitty bug, but I must be bad, because I resorted to partaking of the soluble stuff! By soluble stuff I mean soluble paracetamol, the horrid stuff makes me gag and act like a right baby.
The nephews returned Saturday night and we had another fun movie night, with some doodling in-between. On Sunday they had to leave early as they were off to a christening, then back to Hamburg. So back to bed I went again, feeling very sorry for myself and still do! Even though the paracetamol is working slightly, it is nowhere near taking the edge off. So at the moment I feel seasick, with no sea in sight.
The eyes run in the family! Beau-ti-ful. I'm so sorry you're sick in the head. I mean, that you have a headache :) Really - my brother had migraines and it was awful for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI suffered from Migraines during the adolescent years. I don't know how I would cope with them at this age. Not sure what the soluble paramecetolly stuff is, but sorry it's not working :( Try some caffeine? A visit to the doctor-since this has gone on for several days? We cannot have your lovely head and eyes beholding so much pain!! Take care of you! XO
ReplyDeleteCute nephews. I bet they give you loads of smiles and happy times.
ReplyDeleteI love the poem about listening.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon. I had a horrible headache all day today ... warding off a migraine as I get those too.
ReplyDeleteYour nephews are adorable!
Well bugger that for a game of soldiers! I hope that by now you're feeling a good sight better and that the evil headache from hell retreats and never returns to bother you again.
ReplyDeleteThe nephews are absolutely adorable! They will be breaking hearts before too long no doubt!
It is proper to say that "they are a right handsome lot"? ANyway, they are two very handsome little dudes, for sure. Hope you get rid of the migraine or whatever vile illness is keeping you from enjoying life right now and do it soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of cuties! I see they have your stunner blue eyes, they must run in the fam. And I hope your headache takes a hike and leaves you alone. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boys... I know beautiful is a girl word, but they look like little angels!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon. Nothing worse than a headache that won't go away...
It sounds like you were able to hold yourself together for some fun times with the nephews, cuties that they are. I hope the migraine soon recedes into a distant, bad memory.
ReplyDeleteOh, I detest migraines!! I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteCute cute guys :)
Such cute kids. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about the migraine. If it's any consolation, I started feeling my own coming on last night. <:( Sympathy pains, I'm sure.
Awwww....sweetie I hope you are feeling better now. The nephews are adorable! I just wanna pinch Connors pudgy wudgy wittle cheeks! :)
ReplyDeleteSweet nephews :O) I hope your head gets better soon. Migraine is no fun!
ReplyDeleteYour youngest nephew actually bears quite a resemblance to you! How fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel less blurgh soon. It kinda sounds like you have a sinus infection. Maybe you should have a medical-type person look into that.
Try Lavender oil if you can get some, I can find it in craft stores. Put some on a cloth by your pillow, it seems to help ease migraines. My daughter gets them, and she says it really does help! :)
