I see you like containers. I really like to have flowers in containers too, but they are short lived here. It gets too hot, even in the shade of the patio. I would have to water four or five times a day to keep anything alive this time of year. However, I do have container flowers from February until May, and then again from mid-September until the first frost--if we have one. Aiyana
@hootin, Thanks, I have been playing with a collage maker its very cool.
@teena, Thanks :)
@Crazy/Tisha, Yeah and made up with how they look. The mum is doing okay thanks for asking :)
@Laura, The weather here has been weird as usual. From lovely sunny days, to howling wind, to rain, back to sunny again. I hope it doesn't mess with the flowers too much. Loved the award and what you wrote :)
@Da Old Joe, I love that you know me so well as to expect a septic thumb. You can dig through my hiking posts and read about me popping a puss filled blister if you like? :)
@Dee, Thanks for that, I might do a post on how I did the collage, seeing as people seem to like them :)
@Relax Max, come closer, closer, closer.
15, 15, 15.
@Aiyana, I love containers, the mum is in a wheelchair at the mo so she loves them too as she can still garden that way. I normally start in late April and the containers can last all the way into October, depending on what I plant. Its a shame yours are short lived :(
Beautiful flowers, the colors are amazing. You photograph very well and most of the flowers you photographed, I happen to have in my garden. Sometimes I think we green thumbs are aligned in our thoughts. I am most happiest when I am in my garden planting. Some amazing things happen in the garden, the play of life and death is clearly seen in the garden. I once watched my mother bring back to life a plant that I truly believed was dead and there was no hope for it. I threw it away only to watch her restore it. A miracle to me but the usual to her. Wisdom and patience is needed in the garden but also a good eye. There is lots to learn in the garden. Wishing you life's best.
Wow you have some green fingers they say over here: the capability to work with plants and gardens! It looks wonderful. Your blog is so beautiful, I enjoy reading your posts.
