ReplyDeleteI would go to say hello, but unfortunately she doesn't allow anonymous comments, which really means that non-Blogger users can't comment. I wish Blogger would make that clear to users.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, to use the Cockerney rhyming slang properly, you need to drop the explanatory second rhyming part.
IE cream-crackered=creamed.
You're having a bubble! = bubble bath = laugh.
That'll really get on their thrupneys...... :-D
Septic Tanks = Yanks I suppose. Hey I'm English and I don't understand her half the time.
ReplyDeleteAnyway Yanks aren't Yanks if they come from the South, or at least as I understand it

I learned a little bit about us septic tanks and the like, and rhyming Cockney slang, as in "Gotta take a camel hump."
I just wish y'all had rhymed river bank or something nice like that with yank. A septic tank is all full of goo and is yucky. I hope that's not the point!
