This weeks TT is something that has affected me greatly!Yep my Ear Infection, please feel free to suffer along with me.
1. Funny Latin Name for Ear Infections Otitis media, or in Claire Bloodius Awfulius
2. It Feels like i am out to sea in a wee boat, but i look around and i am in fact in bed.
3. Pain Killers don't work.
4. You cough a lot! and then find out its Ear Juice! yes thats my term for it.
5. You can't sleep.
6. You cant eat.
7. You cant read or write, it has took a long time to write this!
8. Hearing problems, what did you say? HEARING PROBLEMS!
9. Horse Tablet sized Antibiotics that may or may not work.
10. Head feels like it is about to explode, which would make a mes.
11. It makes you miss very important college lessons, so you are now behind.
12. It makes you hate your own ears.
13. It makes me sad.

ReplyDeleteLong, long, long ago when I was in second grade I had the Mother of All Ear Infections. I believe I missed something like two weeks of school and I was absolutely, positively miserable. It's one of the few childhood illnesses that I remember which goes to tell how very bad it was!

ReplyDeleteI recently got over a nasty double ear infection and it took weeks for the pain to subside entirely.

Earache/infection or toothache and those type problems - it's a toss-up as to which is the worst to endure. Not much that can be done to ease the pain until the antibiotics finally fully kick in full gear and cure it. Hope you get over it soon though as it is really wicked and also, makes it harder then after when you've missed classes, etc., from something like that.

ReplyDeleteThe last time I had an ear infection, I also had a sinus infection. I was deaf for about 2 weeks before the meds did their thing.
Ugggh... that sounds awful! I really hope you feel better soon. Luckily I've never had an ear infection that I know of.
ReplyDeleteMy 3yr old has an ear infection right now. Poor guy is miserable and the medication is YUK! He cries every time I get the bottle out.

Oh ew. Ear Juice. A friend of mine just had an ear infection, she thought the constant dizziness was the worst.

ReplyDeleteNasty name, but for a nasty infection, why not. How long did they say it would take for the antibiotics to work? It should be getting better soon. Hang in there and get some notes from your classmates.
