Happy Manic Monday! you know that saying don't drink and blog(i think i made it up) well obviously i ignore it! It's Bank Holiday Monday here so i went the pub and the vodka is still in my system now!
So what have i picked for my manic this week?
Hangover Survival!
Why oh why did i get a digital camera! i hate having my photo took but add some alcohol and i take photos of myself! How scary is that!
So my point is how to survive a hangover!
- Drink Plenty of water!
- Don't go out on a empty stomach.
- Eat Noodles when you get home.
- Take a couple of paracetamol before sleeping.
- More water.
Update: I am awake now and don't feel too bad! I had to get up for water twice though and my throat feels a bit like a camel in the desert with no water.
Deleted one image because i don't want to look at it, the other looks funny!
You are too funny. LMAO!!!
ReplyDeleteoh honey. step away from the camera. put it down slowly. walk away. there. now don't ever do that again! and please delete that shot of your cute face!!! ha ha ha...

Bad, bad Claire! LOL Hope you got a little of the rambunctiousness out of your system after doing all the construction work on your blog! Good job, too on the blog!
ReplyDeleteLOL....take two aspirin and call me in the morning :) Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteClaire, Claire, Claire...I'm with Empress Bee...You like to party don't you? You are so funny.
ReplyDeletePuking helps clear the system. Might want to do that before bedtime. It sometimes keeps the room from spinning. I'm off to have some Champagne now ♥
Dammit, Claire. This does it.
ReplyDeleteYou officially have the best blog in the world.
*LOL* The LAST thing I reach for when I am drunk is my camera. You're a brave soul. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are still cute when you're plastured, though. ;)
Feel better soon...thanks for the great advice. I'm sure I'll need it when I'm in Vegas!
Vitamin B complex before going to sleep. If you have a nurse friend, an injection is even better. Gotta protect those brain cells.
ReplyDeleteUm.. I like the red hair :)
ReplyDeleteOr drink a bloody Mary, that helps too !
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say what Jaime said - Vitamin B!!!
ReplyDeleteLet us know how you are tomorrow!
:-)
I've forgotten all of the hangover remedies that used to work for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't suffer too much!
And great new look for the blog!
A good British Fry Up! It'll kill or cure.

ReplyDelete<----- hides the camera incase as I think we may be in danger of morning after photos later . . . .lol
I'm with Ruth - a good fry up for breakfast
I bet you is not as thinkle as drunkle peepee you are.
ReplyDeleteLater Y'all
Reality is an illusion caused by lack of alcohol. Go to the pub this afternoon! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is strange, our MM are related, one day at a time..........
ReplyDeleteI use to stop by the Dairy Queen and have a tall strawberry malt before I went to parties. Coated my stomach. I can't remember if it worked tho????
ReplyDeleteI hear some joes saying an IV bag or two the morning after will do the trick, you like needles?
ReplyDeleteHa!
ReplyDeleteDon't delete the picture - this was a great post.
Do you Brits always celebrate a Bank Holiday with a hangover???
Hi Claire,
ReplyDeleteI like the new layout. Don't worry about the drinking; it's a common habit of construction workers ;)
the Grit
HA! Surviving the ol' hangover. Chocolate milkshakes! the wonder cure. Great post.
ReplyDeleteClaire, In addition to some of the light weight survival gear for your hikes mentioned in my blog today, I hope you carry a GPS signal as well. It always helps if you can tell others where to find you.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first visit, loved it! You're funny. Great take on the topic!
ReplyDeleteI used to swear by taking two aspirin and a big glass of water before going to bed.
